Genre: sci-fi fantasy adventure
Log line: A boy meets a girl, who is chased by thieves that want her blue pendant, and discovers her secret origin while they are running away from the thieves and getting involved in a fight between the people, who seek to dominate the world, and the members of a submarine.
This anime is based on the same proposed plan of “Castle in the Sky”. The chief director is Hideaki Anno, who directed “Neon Genesis Evangelion” later. Different from “Evangelion”, it’s a fun adventure story. The narrative is sometimes unstable, though.
