Genre: sci-fi action romantic comedy
Log line: A young man, who lived in the underground layer of a massive spaceship, is selected as a pilot of the robot to wipe out the enemy creatures while he struggles with his relationships between various types of people and the loss of a young woman whom he loved.
This is a full-CG robot anime, which is full of interesting premises. For example, people photosynthesize, there is a third kind of gender, there are clones, a part of creature’s body pretends to be h
uman, etc. The balance between serious parts and comical parts, that mainly a romantic comedy, is good. It’s based on a comic from a manga artist who has a unique style. Creating a full-CG anime TV series is challenging but I feel the passion from the creators, in this anime.
