This is the sequel to “Dancing Generation”.
In “Dancing Generation”, a Japanese high school female student Aiko, who loves dancing, joins a dance team and becomes a professional dancer at New York Dance Company at the end.
The story of “N.Y. Bird” begins when Aiko comes back to N.Y. from a dance Intern training at Opera National De Paris.
As she continues making her career, she faces conflicts about her self-realization as a dancer, and a love triangle between her dance teacher and her boyfriend dancer.
The combination of dynamic page constructions and detailed representation is beautiful. I would say that this is an emotion driven story.
